šŸ…šŸ”„ The 2024 Summer Olympic Games are upon us, and Chef David is going for the gold this weekend with another delicious fresh fish special. Are you an Olympics watcher? What is your favorite event? While Paris hosts the games this year, we Italians harbor no grudgesā€”after all, itā€™s all about global camaraderie. šŸŒ Fun fact: In every edition of the games, the Olympic torch ignites in Greece and journeys to the host country. Weā€™re cool if it bypasses us, though; in the restaurant industry, we know it's hard to extinguish a Greece fire. šŸ„

This weekend, weā€™re rallying behind Team USA with our Grilled American Snapper and savoring the late summer vibes with a robust vegetable puree crafted from roasted fennel bulbs, red bell peppers, red onions, and garlic. Trust me, I practically wanted to swim in that veggie goodness when I tasted it. Paired with polenta and the flaky, mild snapperā€™s char, itā€™s the perfect bite of summer freshness. For a harmonious match, sip a crisp Pinot Grigio or Chablis that wonā€™t overpower the subtle flavors.

Also, next Wednesday, July 31st we will be hosting a Foodies of Lafayette Celebration Event in honor of our 2024 Culinary Excellence Award. There are only 15 tickets left so if you're interested in joining us, call today to secure your spot! It's only $25 per ticket (which includes food, non-alcoholic beverage, tax and gratuity), and we'll be serving an array of small bites passed around the Blu Room as guests enjoy each other's company. A cash bar will also be available.
